Rewarding, challenging and interesting….

… were the top 3 words used by people to describe their volunteering experiences. Whilst 2 in 3 volunteers said volunteering reduces stress and 1 in 2 said their physical and mental health had improved. If that’s not enough here’s 10 other reasons to consider volunteering:

South Lakes Citizen Advice is currently seeking volunteers. So if you can spare one day a week and would like to help local people, why not volunteer?  We have a range of roles and offer free training. Travel expenses will be paid.
